Artbox Albuquerque

Artbox Albuquerque was a community art project co-created by Lauren V Coons and Leilani Brothers. The project invited artists of any age, expertise level, and medium to contribute a work of art contained within a six-by-six inch frame. These small works are then brought together side by side in mountable wall installations, creating a single collective piece built from many individual voices and hands.

Artbox Albuquerque has produced two installations: "Spacious Skies," which was shown at the Anderson Abruzzo Albuquerque International Balloon Museum and at Maple Street Dance Space. and "Tree Being" was installed at Maple Street Dance Space as part of the Tree Being: Resilience exhibition and performance.
